Consumer IoT Product Workshop: Practical, Connected Products for Homes, Offices and Farms

The Internet of Things (IoT) is not the same as it used to be 10yrs, 5yrs or 3yrs ago. It isn't the same it used to be even 1 year ago! This 2-day workshop goes beyond tinkering with ESP8266 prototypes - and takes participants straight to the heart of Connected Products: For the Home, Office and the Farm! We will be working on actual IoT solutions and consumer grade hardware for REAL IoT deployments: Sonoff Switches, Home Automation Gateways, Cloud Platforms, and much much more. Day 1 will be based in Indiranagar, and Day 2 will take participants to an actual farm where they will try out several IoT based farming and connected agriculture exercises. This workshop is a collaboration between Makespace and Open Source Creativity and Makerfarm (www.makerfarm.in)

NOTES: + Please bring your own laptop and charger to the workshop! + All IoT equipment, components, electronics, and peripherals will be provided during both days of the workshop. + Mentors, Instructors will help all participants create connected systems and IoT prototypes from scratch + Anybody above the age of 13 yrs is welcome to register and attend this 2-day workshop.
