3D Printing Workshop [1st Day Half Session]

Learn all about 3D Printing and Digital Fabrication! Regardless of whether you are a total newbie or an experienced professional, we've planned a special 2-day workshop which applies to folks of all skill levels as they explore their own unique journey in 3D Printing and Design for 3D Printing. We will have multiple 3D Printers of various configurations available during the entirety of the workshop (Prusa Cartesian, Delta, CoreXY, etc) and participants will get the opportunity to use the machines themselves under supervised guidance.

DAY 2: 3D Printing for Engineering and Product Design 11.00 - 13.00: A story-based approach of ideating, designing and printing fully functional parts for day-to-day projects --> How to start thinking about Product Design in 3D --> Nuances of 3D Printing with different materials (PETG, ABS, PLA, Wood-based Filaments, etc) and which materials to use with what application --> 3D Printing replacement parts for broken household appliances --> Combining Electronics (e.g. Arduino/Raspberry Pi based setups) with 3D Printing --> Introduction to Parametric Modelling --> Compose and 3D print a parametrically designed object 13.00 - 14.00: Lunch Break (on your own) 14.00 - 17.30: Bespoke 3D model creation and 3D Printing --> Participants design and print their own designs with guidance and assistance of mentors --> Demo of popular Post-processing Techniques and Finishes for 3D Printing (Difference between functional and decorative parts, Waterproofing, Shines, etc) 17.30 - 18.00: Day 2 and Workshop wrap-up Session --> How to document your designs thoughtfully and carefully

++ This workshop is open to anyone above the age of 10 years and does not require prior experience in 3D Printing or 3D Product Design ++ You must bring your own laptop and charger in order to gain the most out of the practical aspects of this workshop ++ Multiple 3D printers will be on premise for you to try and tinker with, keeping in mind safety procedures and other considerations under the guidance of trained supervisors and mentors ++ Anybody registering on the spot on day of event will be charged INR 2000/- per person, no exceptions. ++ Any questions?
