Get together, Have Fun and Learn about how to do wonderful things with Arduino! Makespace and Open Source Creativity brings an incredible line-up of experts, makers, hackers and DIY enthusiasts having a common shared interest in all things Arduino! Arduino Day is an event that was born to commemorate the anniversary of Arduino (www.arduino.cc). It is a worldwide celebration, organized directly by the user communities of Arduino, which brings together people to share experiences and learn more about this open source hardware platform. Join us for a showcase of interactive and digital making projects and workshops for beginners (Internet of Things, e-textiles, Robotics and more) using the Arduino platform.

AGENDA 11:00 - 13:00: Getting Started with Arduino (guided walkthroughs) + Go from Zero to Hero using the Arduino platform + Learn how to program LEDs, Buzzers, Sensors and Motors 13:00 - 13:45: Quick Lunch Break (on your own) 13:45 - 14:30: "Arduino - A Documentary" viewing featuring Massimo Banzi, David Cuarteilles and the people behind the open source platform 14:30 - 17:30: Intermediate Arduino and Community Challenge! + Small teams will be formed, under expert guidance, to create Arduino installations/builds around the following topics: --> Creating end-to-end IoT prototypes with Arduino --> Building complex robots with Arduino (Robot Arms, Hexapods) --> DIY Music Technology with Arduino (Synthesizers and Music Machines) --> eTextiles: Using the LilyPad Arduino and Smart Fabrics 17:30 - 18:00: End of Arduino Day and Prize Distribution!
